What these pages collect

These editorial pages do not ask you to create an account, submit a contact form, join a mailing list or provide payment information. They do not include advertising trackers, audience analytics or social-media tracking widgets.

The pages do not set application cookies or use browser local storage to remember a reader profile. There is no consent banner because these pages do not load optional analytics or advertising tools. The navigation and reading experience work without JavaScript.

Technical delivery and logs

When your browser requests a page, the server necessarily receives technical information needed to return it. This can include your network address, the requested URL, the time of the request and details your browser sends about itself. Standard web-server and security logs may record this information to operate the service and investigate errors or abusive traffic.

We do not display these technical records as a public visitor profile or use them for advertising. Avoid putting personal information into a URL or sending information through an address that is not an intended form; these editorial pages do not provide a private messaging service.

Links and local assets

Images, style sheets and icons used by the editorial pages are served locally from this website. The site does not require external fonts, embedded videos, third-party scripts or a social-media account to read an article.

Your browser or network provider may have separate practices outside this website's control. If you follow a link to a different website in a future article, that destination will have its own privacy practices. A link is not a transfer of a Northline reader account: there are no reader accounts here.
